Whether you pumped iron or spent most of your routine on cardio machines, after a serious workout, you need a shower!

Gold’s Gym has been around for decades. It is known to be an affordable gym with great equipment and amenities. However, the availability of amenities will vary from one location to another.

If there is one amenity that you should make sure that the gym has, that would be the showers! So does Gold’s Gym have showers? You’ll be happy to know that Gold’s Gym has showers in all of its locations.

Are Gold’s Gym showers gross, or are they nice? What is it like to shower there? Do they provide you with soap, towels, etc.?

We’ll answer all those below.

Why Does Gold’s Gym Have Showers?

Shower After Tanning

Have you ever tried working out in budget gyms? Most of the time, they will provide you with working gym equipment. And while the amenities are there, they can feel more like a prison than a spa!

Gold’s Gym does offer affordable membership and has member-friendly policies. But they are unlike the other budget gyms that only offer basic gym equipment, Gold’s also offers a variety of amenities, one of which is the shower.

The shower is considered to be a basic amenity in gyms. Everyone would love to shower after doing their workout routine.

A shower after the exercise is simply refreshing not only to the body but also to the mind.

Showering after the workout can help reduce muscle soreness. And of course, it is important for hygienic purposes.

Gold’s Gym knows the value of having a shower at their facilities. So you can expect that each location will have a shower area.

A shower at the gym is a key convenience. No need to go home just to take a shower after working out.

This is great for those who plan to go elsewhere after working out. You can schedule your workout before school or work because you can shower there and head straight to where you need to go.

What Are The Showers At Gold’s Gym Like?

Most of the showers you’ll find at any Gold’s Gym will look similar to each other when it comes to the design. The shower stalls will usually be located near the locker rooms.

There will be a number of shower stalls that are separated by a wall. Apart from that, there will also be a shower curtain that’s long enough to cover you up while you shower.

For safety purposes, the showers also have mats that will prevent you from slipping inside the shower stalls. These help your feet get a good grip so you can comfortably wash.

Like most gyms, the showers will also be typically located near the locker room. The locker rooms at Gold’s Gym are usually spacious, and locker sizes will also vary.

Within the locker room, you’d also find benches that you can use to get yourself ready. There are also mirrors so you can fix yourself.

In some locations, hairdryers could also be available.

Apart from the showers and the locker rooms, some Gold’s Gym locations have other additional amenities as well like a sauna.

The sauna provides a great way to help in muscle recovery after the exercise.

Do They Provide Shampoo, Soaps, And Towels?

Having a shower area is great but wouldn’t it be nice if they also provide all that you need for a shower? Shampoo and soap availability in the shower would be great… but not all Gold’s Gym locations have them all the time.

Although many will provide shampoo and soap, not all locations do. It is best to ask, or better yet bring some of your own at least at first.

That can help you avoid any ingredients that you could be allergic to. This is especially true if you have sensitive skin.

As for the towels, their availability will also depend on the location you are going to. Some provide towels, but others do not. Some locations can also provide towels at an additional cost as towel service.

Most people will recommend bringing a towel to use when you shower at Gold’s Gym, especially if you plan to use their pool.
