Are you already a member of Equinox, looking to invite a guest to the best gym in the world? Or maybe you have a friend who is a member, and you want to come along to try it out?

There are some gyms that can allow you to try to work out in their gym for free either as a trial or as a guest.

So does Equinox allow guests? The good news is that Equinox does allow guests in their gyms. Members can bring a guest so that they can see for themselves if they want to become an Equinox member.

In this article, we’ll go over how the Equinox Guest Pass works.

Does Equinox Allow Guests?

Most large gym chains like Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness, and OrangeTheory allow guests into their gyms as a method of recruitment and introduction.

If you’re already a member, there’s a good chance you’ll encourage your friends to join. Your friends are of similar minds and quite often similar financial circumstances.

This is true for Equinox.

The Equinox Guest Policy is to allow guests into the gym so guests can work out there and better see the environment.

As guests, you don’t just visit the Equinox gym and look around! You also get to try to work out for just a day or a few days depending on the guest policy.

In order to get into the Equinox gym as a guest, there are three ways to do it:

  • Equinox guest pass
  • The refer-a-friend method
  • Free one-day trial.

The Equinox Guest Pass

The Equinox guest pass is a great way to fully experience the Equinox gym to decide if Equinox is worth joining. It allows you to work out in the gym for about 7 days.

The number of allowed days will depend on the guest pass policy of the club.

However, the allowable days are usually capped at 7 days. With this, you can use most of the amenities at the Equinox gym.

The 7-day guest pass policy will usually have a fee that’s about $10 to $50 depending on the location that you are going to.

Refer A Friend Guest Pass

Another way to enter the Equinox gym is through the Refer-a-friend guest pass. With this guest pass, you have to know someone who is a member of the Equinox gym. Only members can give you the refer-a-friend pass.

This type of guest pass will only allow you to use the gym for one day. You also have to be 18 years and older and you should have a guest pass ID so you can get access to the gym.

Apart from getting access to the Equinox gym for a day. The one that referred you to the gym will also receive perks should you decide to become a gym member.

Equinox gives its members incentives so that they could try to convince others to become members of the club, too. All they have to do is go to the guest pass section on the website and fill up your contact information.

You’ll receive the invitation through email and you can use that to check the Equinox gym to decide whether you want to be a member or not.

Only members who are in good standing can refer a friend to Equinox. Before referring lots of people, first, check if the local gym allows it and if your friend really wants to be invited. That’s because a specific date will also be placed on the invite.

Equinox Day Pass: A Free One-Day Trial

If you don’t know any members and don’t want to pay for the 7-day guest pass, you can also obtain a guest pass through their free Equinox Day Pass one-day trial promo.

To do this, you simply have to go to the local Equinox gym and ask the front desk for a free one-day guest pass. You have to be 18 years old and above for them to give you one.

They won’t usually ask for your credit card in order for you to be given a guest pass.

Benefits Of The Guest Pass

No matter what kind of guest pass you have, there are a few benefits that you could get out of them. Use those benefits to really get to know what the Equinox gym has to offer, and if it’s the right spot for you.

First of all, you get access to the gym equipment offered by the local gym you are visiting. There are also different classes you can attend depending on the availability of the classes.

You also get access to the amenities but what they have to offer will depend from one location to another. They could include full-sized basketball courts, sun decks, cafes, squash courts, saunas, lap pools, and high-end exercise equipment.

Equinox is an expensive gym, so you want to know what you’re getting into.
