As a parent, you always have a hectic schedule. You just don’t get to spend the whole day for yourself. You also have to consider the little one that you care for and dearly love.

However, that doesn’t mean that you should skip the things that you like to do. You need to take care of your body too! And OrangeTheory Fitness can help you with that through their classes.

So, does OrangeTheory have childcare? Although that would be superb for parents, unfortunately, they don’t offer childcare.

Nevertheless, OrangeTheory is still great for parents because classes are short and there are multiple classes throughout the day. More about that below.

Does OrangeTheory Have Childcare? No, They Don’t.

Wouldn’t it be great to go to the gym and take your class knowing that your child is safe in the next room? That would be awesome for parents.

But unfortunately, that doesn’t happen at OrangeTheory Fitness.

Their facilities don’t have childcare. No one can watch your child for you while you attend the gym classes.

What a bummer!

However, OrangeTheory is still a great place to workout as a parent for the following reasons:

Short Classes

You don’t have to work out for hours just to get results. OrangeTheory classes are based on HIIT exercises. These raise your heart rate so you can burn the fat up to 36 hours after your class.

The classes are also designed to target your whole body, too. So don’t just expect to feel the burn on your legs. You’ll feel it everywhere!

2-4 Workouts A Week Gives You Results

Due to the effects of the workout, you will continue to burn fat even if you don’t exercise the day after the classes. You also don’t need to attend classes every day.

For maximum results you can visibly see, make sure you attend classes 2-4 times a week.

Flexible Schedule

You may have a busy schedule but it would be easier to fit an hour of fitness into your day. Especially if the class hours are flexible!

If you have time before you head out for work, you can certainly get that first Treadmill class that starts at 5:00 am. There are many classes throughout the day, and the last one is usually at 8:00 pm.

This is available all week long.

Try It For Free

Having kids may not only seem like you’ve got limited time. It may also mean your resources are tighter. It is normal to prioritize the kids’ needs.

If you want to make sure that the OrangeTheory Fitness classes are right for you, you can attend your first class for free (you can also get a guest pass from a friend who is a member)

That will help you avoid paying for the fees in case you don’t really feel that it is the right workout for you.

Kids Are Welcome

Kids are welcome in the gym. In fact, they have family packages that give you a discount when a family member also works out there!

There is no minimum age, and everyone is welcome. This could be a great bonding time with your kids when you take them along and work out with them. It is also a great way to keep them healthy.

However, this may not be applicable to very young children. For the under-10s, you’d really need to figure separate childcare.

Why Don’t They Have Childcare?

Providing childcare at gyms is a great idea, it’s super convenient for parents. However, having such would also mean significant additional costs for the gym. And child care facilities will definitely take up space in their facilities.

Additionally, there are potentially significant liability issues with kids.

Furthermore, the target clients of OrangeTheory aren’t limited to parents. From the standpoint of the business, it would be best to provide amenities that most of their clients can use.

Alternatives To Childcare at OrangeTheory Fitness

Although OTC doesn’t provide childcare at their facility, you may still be able to find short-term childcare near the facility. Visit your local OTF and inquire there, you’re probably not the only one who has inquired about this.

Sometimes, they might be able to recommend professional daycare facilities near the area. Additionally, there might be some daycare centers near OTF that could even give discounts to OTF members.

The availability of such daycare centers will vary depending on the location of the OTF facilities. Nevertheless, it is worth scouting for if you really want to attend the OTF classes.

Conclusion

OrangeTheory Fitness doesn’t offer childcare in any of its facilities. However, they are still a parent-friendly gym.

Their classes last for an hour, they have flexible class time starting at 5:00 am to 8:00 pm, kids are welcome, and you only aim to attend a few classes a week. Best of all, you can attend the first class for free.
